When Larry set out on the project that has become Thaumaturgic, he went out with one goal - to make the best DVD so far, both from an entertainment, and effect standpoint. He did just that.

Released on September 25, 2007, the reaction to Thaumaturgic was awesome. Each unique video recieved its own roar from viewers. Requests for more videos like the ones in this DVD were immediate. "I love the effect on the Kings of Leon video! You've got to do another like that," or similar comments were constantly heard.

Thaumaturgic was also the first DVD to feature "Bonus Features" which were mostly clips that were shot for the DVD, but never were used for some reason. The pleasant surprise recieved just as much attention as the videos. Smashing an Egg, Gardening, Tossing Shovels, and beer were the few bonus features.

Thaumaturgic is also probably the most family friendly DVD. The explosion of popularity in the previous year was very popular with people under 13, and thus a goal of Larry's to be more friendly to kids.

While it was very economical to produce, don't judge it by it's black and white casing. It is all to save money, so that we could have better videos.

Thaumaturgic also brought the official launch of LarryGasik.com. That’s where you are now! The site was intended to keep his fans in touch with him as he works on other projects. Is he sitting on his butt playing Halo? Is he working on the next DVD? What about another hoax site? It featured a blog-thing, and a webcam, so you could see what he was doing and see how hard he doesn’t work. It is the official place to see what’s going on with Larry Gasik. The website was also a way to help cut costs, to see the popularity of watching the videos online, perhaps as a new way to distribute the videos.
